Audrey Hepburn’s Former Los Angeles Home Is for Sale

The $14 million estate is up for grabs ahead of the Christie's auction of the actress's belonging in London this September

Audrey Hepburn may be one of the most emulated movie stars of all time, and while no one can replace the late actress, at least now someone can live like her: Hepburn’s former 1.1-acre Los Angeles estate is now on sale for $14 million. It has also been home to Eva Gabor, Mia Farrow, and David Niven. Paul Williams designed the six-bedroom, four-bathroom house in 1938, and the property includes a guesthouse, detached office, pool and tennis court.

Not only can you live in Audrey Hepburn’s former home, but those wanting to take it to extremes could furnish it with her personal belongings as well: Hepburn’s personal collection will go on sale at Christie’s in London in September. The auction will include her collection of ballet flats; a cigarette lighter engraved with For My Fair Lady, a gift from the film’s art director; framed personal portraits; and an original annotated Breakfast at Tiffany’s script. All these items would be perfect to scatter throughout the vast former home of Hepburn, around the built-in bookcase in the living room, the walk-in closets, or the grand staircase in the entryway.

An exhibition of the items will be on display ahead of the September 27 auction at Christie’s.
