Burr is set to star, write and direct the upcoming comedy film, Old Dads, according to Deadline. Old Dads will see a father (Burr) and his two best friends who discover that they’re out-of-touch with the current times after selling their business to a millennial and hilariously attempting to navigate fatherhood and their personal lives in the ever-evolving world. Burr and Ben Tishler co-wrote Old Dads based on their own life experiences, with slices of cultural commentary blended throughout. Along with Burr, Bobby Cannavale and Bokeem Woodbine are also set to star in the upcoming comedy film.
Miramax and Burr’s own All Things Comedy are currently set to back the upcoming project, with Bill Block (Bad Moms, Dirty Grandpa) Monica Levinson (Borat), and Mike Bertolina on board as the film’s producers. Production for the upcoming comedy film began earlier this week in Los Angeles. Fans of Burr are already highly anticipating the comedian’s feature film directorial debut with Old Dads, as it is sure to be yet another hit among Burr’s already impressive career.
